It is somewhat easy to evaluate how technically smart a company is or how geeky a person is. What about a bunch of people or rather interestingly, a city? I got this thought when I read the name San Francisco just as frequent as Google. Number of events got/getting organized in San Fransisco is indicative. It includes this centurey’s first geek show Web 2.0 and upcoming MacWorld 2006. San FranciscoMost of them in that list are related to computers and technology. So the organizers excpect more participation from the city than any other place in the planet?

San Francisco hosts some of the smart companies like Adaptive Path, Blogger’s founding company Pyra and startups like Odeo, Technorati . The list is huge to cover. No wonder why the city wanted it Wi-Fied and Google jumped in to offer the service.
